Derby County suffered a late blow in their hopes of picking up all three points against Huddersfield Town at the weekend.

Phillip Cocu would have been urging his side to get back to winning ways after falling to a disappointing 3-2 defeat to Bristol City in midweek, putting an end to a run of just one defeat in eight games.

The Rams went in search of a response on their home turf on Saturday afternoon, as they looked to get their unlikely push for the play-offs back on track.

The game was shy of quality for the large part, but on the hour mark, Tom Lawrence finally broke the deadlock for Derby, firing a phenomenal effort into the top corner from the edge of the area.

But Derby were unable to see out the lead, with Harry Toffolo striking low into the bottom corner on 81 minutes.

Lawrence produced a superb performance for the home side, though, and his display earned plenty of praise from Derby supporters after the game.

The Welshman is really starting to turn a corner, having scored in last week's 3-2 win over Swansea City too.
