Aston Villa have been handed a double boost ahead of their trip to the City Ground tomorrow evening.

Axel Tuanzebe and Henri Lansbury are both set to resume first-team training after overcoming their respective injuries.

Neither played in the win over rivals Birmingham this past weekend with both likely to return to first-team action after the international break.

The Manchester United defender, who is on loan to Villa has not played since the middle of December with a foot injury.

Lansbury, meanwhile, has had continuous hamstring problems that have blighted his campaign, restricting him to just one appearance this term.

The 28-year-old has managed just eight minutes of action this season in the league for Villa and played only ten times the previous one, too.

With defensive options at a premium and more competition for midfield places soon to be available once more, things are starting to look up for Villa off the pitch as well as on it.

But Villa fans have had a tongue-in-cheek retort to news of Lansbury's imminent return...
