Many Blackburn Rovers fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Reda Khadra and Jan Paul van Hecke are set to remain at the club for the rest of the season.

As confirmed by Blackburn’s official Twitter account, Brighton & Hove Albion have opted against recalling the duo from their current spells at Ewood Park.

Paul van Hecke has been utilised on 11 occasions in the Championship by Rovers manager Tony Mowbray since making a temporary move to the club last summer.

After picking up a red card during Blackburn’s 7-0 defeat to Fulham in November, the defender has managed to step up his performance levels by helping his side claim five clean-sheets in their last six league games.

Khadra has also managed to demonstrate some real signs of promise at this level for Rovers.

Deployed in several different positions by Mowbray during the current campaign, the 20-year-old has provided five direct goal contributions in the Championship.

After the club shared an update on the futures of these two players on Twitter, many Blackburn fans reacted to the news in a positive manner on the social media platform.
