James Morrison has signed a new one-year deal with West Bromwich Albion, and the Baggies fans are happy, to say the least.

The 32-year-old has the option of a further 12-months at the Hawthorns after agreeing a season extension with the club.

Morrison hardly featured last season as the Baggies were relegated, making four appearances, scoring once.

Having proved his fitness during the summer, the new contract shows the club’s loyalty and faith in a player who made 317 appearances for the club in his 11 year career in the Midlands.

And with thew news the midfield maestro has agreed to remain at the club, West Brom fans took to Twitter to express their delight at the agreement.
