Southend United striker Charlie Kelman has completed his move to Queens Park Rangers, signing a three-year contract at Loftus Road.

The highly-rated attacker becomes Rangers' ninth signing of the window, and joins an impressive-looking Rangers frontline after the recent additions of Albert Adomah and Macauley Bonne.

QPR have made a mixed start to the campaign, collecting five points from their opening four Championship matches, and have confirmed that 18-year-old frontman will initially link-up with the club's U23s in a bid to eventually make the grade at first-team level.

Kelman, who scored six times in 36 Southend appearances across the previous two seasons, was born in England, but grew up in America and is therefore eligible to play for USA - featuring for both their U18s and U20s,

Despite heading straight into QPR's development side, R's fans are delighted with signing of Kelman and have praised the recruitment throughout the summer.
