Nottingham Forest have confirmed that defender Jack Robinson has completed a move to Sheffield United in a deal believed to be worth up to £1m for the Championship side.

The 26-year-old was out of contract at the City Ground in the summer and has lost his place in recent weeks, with Yuri Ribeiro the first-choice left-back under Sabri Lamouchi.

With Chema and Carl Jenkinson able to cover the Portuguese youngster, the Reds were happy to let Robinson depart and the transfer was confirmed on Forest's official site earlier today.

Even though the Liverpool academy graduate was a reliable figure in the team last season, most fans understood this was a good move for all parties given his lack of game time this season and his contract situation.
