Sunderland continue to make positive steps both on and off the pitch, with the news that the Stadium of Light seat change project had been completed.

In total, supporters changed 29,836 seats in the stadium to complete a welcome revamp of the seating plan at the League One club.

It certainly is an incredible effort from the club to bring the 'feel good factor', which has been somewhat missing in recent years as the club suffered back-to-back relegations.

Jack Ross' side are currently second in the League One table and they are well on course for an immediate return to the Championship following relegation last season.

The news of the project's completion was confirmed on the club's Twitter page.

The club also scooped an award at the Football Business Awards for their efforts, which certainly seem to have gone down well with the Black Cats supporters.
