According to local media outlet The Argus, Brighton and Hove Albion are keen to add another central midfielder to their ranks this summer.

Brighton recently completed the signing of Pascal Gross from Ingolstadt and tied Dale Stephens down to a new contract.

In addition to this, Israel international Beram Kayal and Oliver Norwood are under contract while Steve Sidwell has been offered a new deal.

However, despite having five options in the middle of the park, Chris Hughton wants another and Aaron Mooy features on his wishlist.

The Australian international has been on loan at Huddersfield Town from Manchester City this year and has been a revelation.

The 26-year-old has been the standout performer for the Terriers, guiding them to the play-off final against Reading and earning his place in the EFL Championship Team of the Season.

Mooy is likely to be sold by Manchester City this summer with Brighton very keen to snap up the talented midfielder.
