Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace are the favourites to sign Premier League legend Frank Lampard, according to Sky Bet odds via the Croydon Advertiser.

Frank Lampard has been a free agent since leaving Major League Soccer outfit New York City and there have been rumours suggesting he wants one final challenge before hanging up his boots.

The 38-year-old has enjoyed an outstanding career to date.

The attack-minded central midfielder made over 600 Premier League appearances for West Ham, Chelsea and Manchester City and scored 177 goals in that time.

His career has seen him pick up a Champions League winners’ medal, four FA Cups and three Premier League titles as well as winning three Chelsea Player of the Year awards.

The former England international also has 106 caps for his country, scoring 29 goals in that time.

His professional career started in 1995 – 22 years ago – and Brighton or Crystal Palace could be his final club before retiring.
