FC Sion striker Moussa Konate is on the radar of Brighton and Hove Albion this summer, according to the print edition of The Sun on Sunday (21st May, page 61) reported via HITC Sport.

West Bromwich Albion are also tracking Konate and have sent scouts to watch him this season.

Brighton are aiming to bolster their squad ahead of their first ever campaign in the top flight during the Premier League era.

Moussa Konate has struck 33 goals in 74 starts for Switzerland based outfit FC Sion and is attracting interest from abroad.

West Brom hold an interest in the Senegal international but Brighton are reportedly leading the chase.

The 24-year-old can play as a striker or as a winger and will cost Brighton £5m to land, according to this report.

Konate has previously played for Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel), FC Krasnodar (Russia) and Genoa (Italy) but might fancy trying his luck in the Premier League.
