According to a report by HITC Sport, Brighton and Hove Albion are rivalling West Ham for the signing of teenager Bilal Mohammed.

The 15-year-old has been making strides in the youth systems at Hammarby IF in Sweden and could be set for a move to England soon.

West Ham invited Bilal Mohammed for a trial last month and have since had him training with their youth squads after he made a positive impression with the East London outfit.

The attacking midfielder is highly rated and West Ham were expected to offer him a contract to fend off interest from a number of clubs across Europe.

But it appears that Championship high-flyers Brighton have joined the race for the young Swede but have not yet lodged a formal enquiry to Hammarby.

PSV and Sassuolo have also been linked with the winger, who is tipped to become a top player in the near future.
