Reports coming out of Ireland are claiming that unbeaten Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion are tracking Irish winger Daryl Horgan, currently playing at Dundalk.
It was reported this summer that Bolton were looking at him, as well as Barnsley, Charlton and Brentford in previous years.
However, the closest he has got to a ticket to England’s second division was a trial at Cardiff City in October 2014.
The 23-year-old hasn’t yet played for Martin O’Neil’s Republic of Ireland side, but has made three appearances for their U19 side, his debut coming back in 2011.
Domestically, he won the Irish Premier League in 2014. As the Irish League comes into the off season and in England we get closer to the January transfer window, it may not be long before movements are made at the Amex Stadium.
Horgan signed for Dundalk from Cork City in 2013, and scored in his latest match, a 4-0 thrashing of Bray Wanderers.
Meanwhile, the Seagulls currently sit third in the Sky Bet Championship, and remain the only team in England to still be unbeaten this season.
