The Norwegian doesn’t seem likely to make it for this particular game, and both Oliver Burke and Luke Freeman are struggling with knocks picked up against Southampton, so Jokanovic’s selection looks pretty simple.
One potential conundrum is the lone striker spot, with Oli McBurnie playing his way into contention after scoring against the Saints in the Cup, but Billy Sharp has done nothing wrong to lose his place in the league.
Similarly Rhys Norrington-Davies has been solid enough at left-back, but it will be tough to leave out the more experienced Enda Stevens who has just returned from injury.
Jokanovic can also show faith in Rhian Brewster, who is yet to score a league goal for the Blades but is coming closer to getting off the mark and this weekend could be the time for him to notch.
