Brentford will expect to get back to winning ways when they welcome lowly Reading to Griffin Park on Saturday.

The Bees had started the season very well but a draw at Ipswich followed by a disappointing defeat at Derby County last time out in the league has halted their progress somewhat.

And, whilst most will see this as a home banker, they face a Royals side that have won two of their last three games to move out of the relegation zone.

Nevertheless, as our graphic shows, Brentford have been significantly outperforming tomorrow's visitors so far this season.

Dean Smith's have been having more shots at goal, more of the ball, producing more dribbles and making more tackles than their opponents.

That's reflected in the points, with Brentford already seven points ahead of Paul Clement's side who seem destined to be in the bottom half this season.

However, the Berkshire outfit will take encouragement from how their recent games have gone and in Mo Barrow and Joshua Sims, they have two players capable of causing problems on the break.

Clement's game plan is likely to see the Royals surrender possession and use those two as weapons on the break to support the in-form Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.

Whilst the Icelandic international is playing well, few in the Championship can match the Bees number nine.

Neal Maupay has scored eight goals already this season and he will lead the line once again for the hosts. With exceptional movement and a quality midfield supplying him with chances, he is the dangerman for Brentford.
