Brentford striker to miss most of the season

Brentford striker Scott Hogan is set to miss most of the season after requiring an operation on the anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained against Rotherham, according to London24.
Manager Mark Warburton has urged the squad to rally around the 22-year-old, saying to London 24 :”He’ll be well treated medically and the boys and staff get around him. In those situations you do have some dark days – there is no denying that”.
“Everyone has got to get around him. Hopefully that time flies by for him and he’s a very talented player and hungry to play at the highest level and hopefully the rehabilitation will take over”.
The ex-Rochdale striker only signed for the Bees in July but it seems his season may already be over.
