Luton Town striker Andre Gray is set to join newly promoted Brentford later on today, according to ITV.
The 23-year-old is seen as a direct replacement for recently departed top goal scorer Clayton Donaldson who completed a move to Birmingham on Wednesday.
Gray who scored 30 goals in Luton’s return to the Football League after a 5 year absence had been attracting interest from fellow Championship rivals Blackpool but Brentford have seemingly jumped the queue to secure his services.
The fee for Gray’s services will remain undisclosed but it is believed to be in the six figures. This will be Brentford’s second signing of the summer following Marcos Tebar’s arrival on Wednesday.
