According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic youngster Theo Archibald could be set for a permanent move to Sky Bet Championship outfit Brentford.

Brentford have reportedly held advanced discussions with Theo Archibald about a permanent switch from the Scottish Premiership champions to join Brentford.

The young attacking midfielder is currently out on loan at Scottish League One side Albion Rovers after making the temporary switch in January.

The 19-year-old has made 11 appearances for Albion Rovers and the Celtic starlet has caught the eye of Brentford, who are planning a swoop.

It is believed that the Bees will offer Theo Archibald a three year deal to move down to London.

Brentford reportedly first noticed Archibald when he netted a stunning long range effort against Manchester City in a UEFA Youth League game.

There is no word on whether the Celtic under 20 star is willing to make the move to Brentford, other than that he has been involved in advanced negotiations.
