Brentford manager eager to keep hold of clinical striker Andre Gray

Brentford manager Marinus Dijkhuizen hopes to keep Andre Gray at Griffin Park, as reported by Eurosport.
The former Luton Town talisman has been attracting interest after notching 19 goals for the Bees last season in an excellent debut season.
The new Brentford boss is determined to fend off interest in the 23 year old, as well as other star performers from last season’s play-off semi final side.
The Dutchman said: “Yes, I hope we can keep him.
“I have a lot of quality players like James Tarkowski, Gray, Jota and also a good goalkeeper in David Button.
“We want to get better as a club and, as a team, better as well.”
Brentford are expected to add a host of new names to their squad ahead of another push for promotion next season, but Dijkjuizen has revealed he still has plenty of faith in his current crop of players.
“My stance is that the best players play. It doesn’t matter if they are 18 or 30, the best player plays.”
