Championship side Brentford are looking to sign Crystal Palace winger Sulley Kaikai on a loan deal in January, according to a report in West London Sport.

The Bees are hoping to seal a move for the out of favour young winger, who impressed in a similar spell at Griffin Park last season when he bagged three goals in 18 appearances in the Championship.

This season has seen Kaikai come up short in his quest for Premier League football, and with Palace now picking up and Wilf Zaha looking like he is back into top form, first team chances are likely to be at a premium for the youngster.

Brentford will be hoping to strengthen after seeing some inconsistencies creep into their campaign which has seen their charge for a playoff place come to a halt.

The Bees were held 0-0 at home yesterday by relegation threatened Barnsley, and if a game highlighted the need for some more quality in attacking areas, then the game yesterday was just that.

Kaikai has also enjoyed a loan spell with Shrewsbury a couple of seasons back, and would surely relish the move to the Championship with the Bees, giving him the chance to stay in London while crucially getting some first team minutes under his belt.

Brentford fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
