Brentford are edging closer to their first summer signing as Sky Sports News HQ are reporting that Henrik Dalsgaard is undergoing a medical.

According to Sky sources from Tuesday evening, Dalsgaard has flown into London to complete a medical ahead of finalising his switch to Brentford.

Currently at Zulte Waregem, the 27-year-old is set to become Brentford’s first summer signing if he can pass his medical.

The right back will join the Bees after just one year with Belgian side Zulte Waregem and he has previously played for AaB Aalborg in Denmark.

The Denmark international is also able to play as a right winger but is expected to come in to compete for the starting right back spot next season as Brentford aim to mount a promotion push.

Sky Sports News HQ has previously revealed that the deal will cost Brentford £930,000 for the defender with 4 goals in 21 appearances for Zulte Waregem.
