Brentford are interested in bringing former Arsenal defender Luke Ayling to Griffin Park, according to talkSPORT.
The 22-year-old’s contract with Yeovil finishes in June and Yeovil manager Gary Johnson has confirmed Ayling wont be at the club next season.
Ayling joined Arsenal aged 10 and was part of the F.A Youth Cup winning side of 2009. He signed professional terms the following summer but was unable to break into the Gunners first team.
After a successful loan spell at Yeovil he joined the club on a permanent deal in 2010 and has been an integral part of the team since. After Yeovil’s relegation it seems Brentford are ready to step in as they look to add to a squad capable of avoiding relegation in the Championship.
Fans of the Bee’s will be hoping for a busy summer in the transfer market as the West London club look forward to life in England’s second tier.
