Brentford, Blackburn Rovers and QPR are interested in signing Ipswich Town midfielder Andre Dozzell, according to TWTD.

An overhaul is expected to take place at Portman Road this summer, with Paul Cook reportedly telling a host of players, including Dozzell, that they can leave the club.

A host of Championship sides are keeping an eye on Dozzell's situation, though, especially after the midfielder only signed a new four-year deal back in December.

According to TWTD, Brentford have joined Blackburn and QPR in pursuit of Dozzell, who has made 43 appearances in Sky Bet League One this term.

The 22-year-old has made 93 appearances for the Tractor Boys since coming through the ranks at the Suffolk club, but Championship sides are said to be showing an interest.

Blackburn are said to have had an offer rejected for the midfielder in January 2020, but Ipswich are yet to receive an offer for the midfielder at present.

The Verdict

I think it's a risk for Cook to tell that many players to leave.

Changes need to be made to the squad, but he doesn't want to risk making too many wholesale changes as that could ruin morale.

Dozzell was seen as a key part of Ipswich's plans going forward after penning a new four-year deal in December, so he could cost a lot if the Championship come knocking this summer.

But the fact that Cook has almost transfer listed him could suggest that they are looking to cash in for any kind of fee this summer, so Blackburn, QPR and Brentford could get him for a bargain price.
