After three straight games without a victory, Cardiff City got back to winning ways today by thrashing Luton Town 4-0 in the Welsh capital.

The Bluebirds put the disappointment of a loss to Coventry City in midweek behind them, and two early goals set the tone from Sean Morrison and Mark Harris.

Welsh international Kieffer Moore extended the lead just before the hour mark, and Liverpool loanee Sheyi Ojo made it safe and secure late on with a fourth.

It was an impressive win against a solid side from a team that should be much higher in the table looking at their squad on paper.

Cardiff have a tough set of games coming up as they travel to both Watford and Stoke in the next week, and then it's the South Wales Derby at the Cardiff City Stadium.

One player who will be up for that last game in particular is academy graduate Mark Harris, who was born in Swansea and was given a huge chance today as he started under Neil Harris for the first time.

The 21-year-old more than proved his work to the manager, notching the second goal after just nine minutes and he ended putting in a brilliant all-round performance.

It's left Cardiff fans wanting more of him judging by the reaction on Twitter, he was the best player on the pitch.
