Stuart Pearce is set to be named Nottingham Forest manager at the end of the season.
The former England under-21 manager has confirmed that he is in fresh talks with Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi about the vacant position.
Pearce revealed last week that he was not interested in the managerial position at the City Ground after speaking to the chairman.
However, the 51 year-old now says that he has re-opened talks with the club, Pearce said:
“I’m still chatting with Nottingham Forest,”
“That will continue. That’s the best I can say at the moment.
“Forest have always been well supported whatever league they’ve been in, there’s a rich history there. It’s a great club and one that’s very close to my heart.”
