Richie Barker has been sacked from his position of Portsmouth manager.

The 38-year-old manager leaves Portsmouth within two points of the relegation zone, after winning only four of his games in charge.

Academy manager Andy Awford is expected to be placed as temporary manager for this Saturday's match against Newport at Rodney Parade.
