Bradley Dack has had a hard few years at Blackburn Rovers having suffered massively with injuries.

The attacking player was only able to make 16 appearances last season and despite him hoping that this season would bring him more success, another injury meant he was only able to play nine games.

However, the 28-year-old looks to be in good shape now and is hopeful of being available in time for pre-season with Rovers as they prepare for next season.

Despite still being without a manager, what's for certain is that Rovers will be hoping for at least a top six finish next season with their eyes on promotion and Dack is looking forward to the preparations as he told the club's Official Media: "The plan for pre-season is to come out of it and be ready to play 46 or 50 games a season once again.

"What I'm looking forward to is the fact that I'll be doing exactly the same as all the boys, joining in with all the sessions and those hard runs. It'll be really beneficial for me to get me up to a level with the rest of the boys.

"I've missed the last couple of pre-seasons and I would say I'm looking forward to it, but I imagine I'll end up hating that first day back by the end of it!"

The Verdict:

This is really positive news for Bradley Dack and the Blackburn team as he has had a hard couple of years trying to get past his knee injuries.

The fact he seems to be out of the woods now is good news and if he's able to get a solid pre-season under his belt then he will be hoping he is ready to go when the opening day of the season is upon us.

It's clear he is targeting the top with his side and is keen to keep up with his teammates in the hope that he can have as much impact next season as anyone else.
