Bradford have signed Sunderland midfielder Billy Knott on a free transfer.
The youngster has put pen to paper on a two year deal at Valley Parade with the option of a further year.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at League One side Port Vale after previous loan spells with AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe.
Knott started his career at Chelsea but was released from the academy in 2011 and was signed by Sunderland, where he made one senior appearance.
He has represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-20 level.
Knott told Bradfords official website: “I’m quite glad to have this move completed quite early in the summer and I can go away and prepare for pre-season properly now.
“I can’t wait to get started and give it 100 percent. That is the way I like to train and I like to play, and I’ll try to be no different here. This is a big club and i’m excited to get started.”
