According to London News Online, AFC Wimbledon midfielder Jake Reeves is a transfer target for Bradford City.

AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley confirmed to the South London Press that Bradford City hold an interest in Jake Reeves.

Jake Reeves was the standout performer for AFC Wimbledon last season with tidy and composed displays in central midfield.

Renowned for his passing range, the former Brentford man is a major target for Bradford as they look to mount another promotion challenge.

The 24-year-old is seen as a replacement for Josh Cullen.

Cullen was Bradford's star player last year but has returned to parent club West Ham.

The Republic of Ireland under-21 international is likely to either stay with the Hammers or head out to the Championship on loan.

With the void to fill in central-midfield, Reeves is seen as the long-term solution.

The Bantams are thought to be readying a £150,000 bid for the former Tottenham trainee with AFC Wimbledon desperate to keep him.

Neal Ardley said that the deal was hanging in the balance.

Ardley is not sure whether Reeves wants to stay with the Wombles or make the move to Bradford City for next season.

However, Ardley has confirmed that there is concrete interest in Reeves and that Bradford have made this clear.

The decision now appears to be down to Jake Reeves and his preference.
