Bradford City have definitely not shied away from their ambition for the forthcoming League One campaign, as they look to end a barren run of failed attempts at promotion to the Championship.

Manager Stuart McCall has surely shown his intention wisely with the additions of such players as Shay McCartan, Jake Reeves and Dominic Poleon to name a few; but it always going to be an enduring task to replace the likes of James Meredith, Stephen Darby and so on.

Which is why the Bantams' midfield would be pleasantly complete with the loan signing of West Bromwich Albion young talent Sam Field, who's already appearing in the first-team despite his prospective age of 19-years-old.

Primarily a defensive midfield man, Field has become an impressive graduate of the Baggies' academy and he's surely made a mark on the club's senior squad following the nine appearances he racked up last term.

It also proves to a great extent how much belief is poured into the England under-19 international having come off the bench in a league match against Premier League giants Liverpool, a tremendous feat for the developing teenager.

It is unknown just how capable Sam Field is at being a regular first-team member because of his few outings up to this point but a move to Bradford City in League One would wholeheartedly improve his progression, and add extra numbers to McCall's squad ahead of the new season.
