Bradford City have announced that they have suspended season ticket sales for the 2020/21 season.

It is also reported that there is an ever-growing possibility that next year's campaign will start without supporters in attendance, with fans reportedly being allowed back in stadiums not until 2021.

However, the club have announced that if that is the case, then supporters will be able to watch matches from the comfort of their own houses if they have already purchased season tickets.

No return date for the 2019/20 season to get back underway has been scheduled as of yet, but it seems as though it's almost a certainty that supporters won't be in attendance for this season.

It remains to be seen as to which division the Bantams will be playing their football in next season, with Stuart McCall's side currently sat ninth in the League Two table.

They've struggled for consistency this season, but will be keen to keep up the pressure on their promotion rivals when the season gets back underway.

No decision has been finalised for the conclusion of this year's campaign, but McCall is certain to be making sure his side do the supporters proud, even if they aren't in attendance.

The Verdict:

This will be a frustrating update for supporters across League Two.

The off-the-field situation at the moment is the main concern, and the health of the nation is the most important thing.

You have to trust the relevant authorities with their judgement, as the off-the-field crisis could worsen if mass gatherings are to occur later this year.

Supporters will be hoping to see their side back in action at the earliest of opportunities, but only when safe to do so.
