Bradford City are interested in signing Huddersfield winger Sean Scannell who is available to leave the Premier League side.
The 27-year old has not played for the Terriers in the Premier League and was loaned out to Burton Albion 12 months ago.
However, after playing 18 times for Nigel Clough’s side, Scannell was then hit by injury which meant he returned to Huddersfield in January.
Yet, another move seems likely this summer and HITC Sport are reporting that League One Bradford are keen on the player as new boss Michael Collins looks to increase his attacking options.
The Bantams have already signed attacking midfielder Jack Payne, also from Huddersfield, and Middlesbrough forward George Miller on season-long loans in recent days.
Despite that, Collins is still seeking additional firepower and bringing the former Crystal Palace winger to Valley Parade would be a big statement from the Yorkshire side.
Scannell has spent his entire career so far in the second-tier, featuring for local side Crystal Palace before moving onto the Terriers, who he helped win promotion to the top-flight in 2017.
This would be a major signing for Bradford as Scannell really could be a big player in League One.
He has pace, likes to run at defenders and will chip in with goals and assists so everyone connected with the club will hope to get this finalised as soon as possible.
It would cap off a fine week or so for the Bantams in the market after the arrivals of Payne and Miller.
