Bradford City extended their marvellous run with a 1-0 win at Northampton Town on Saturday, and boss Stuart McCall has demanded more of the same from his players.

The Bantams have been in terrific form, winning four and drawing one of their last five, demonstrating the combination of quality and solidity that served them so well last season.

What makes the run all the more impressive is the standard of opponents they've faced. They've beaten Bristol Rovers, Peterborough and Rotherham, whilst Saturday's win was against a rejuvenated Cobblers outfit under Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink.

Speaking to the club's media, ahead of another tough game at home to Fleetwood, boss Stuart McCall revealed his satisfaction for the club's start.

I'm pleased with the amount of points we're amassing at the moment and we've got to continue doing that.

Their fantastic form has seen Bradford surge up to 3rd in the table, but the ex-Rangers man isn't too concerned with positions at the minute.

League tables only come to interest to me in about April. We know teams will get stronger and it's a marathon,Bradford tweeted.

Whilst that's a fair point, fans will be delighted with how things look at this moment.

The Verdict

Ever since Bradford squandered a three goal lead at Walsall, they've looked a different team.

Results and performances have improved, with some key wins in the past five games.

Tomorrow will be another tough test, but the Bantams are looking a very strong side under McCall this season.
