Leeds United are continuing to search for Paul Heckingbottom’s permanent replacement at Elland Road.  

The Whites made a decision to sack Heckingbottom last Friday, ending the 40-year-old’s 16-match reign at Elland Road, which brought a disappointing four victories.

Marcelo Bielsa has emerged as a candidate to replace Heckingbottom at Elland Road, with the ex-Argentina and Chile boss seemingly Leeds’ top target.

Adam Pope from BBC Radio Leeds has provided an update on Leeds’ pursuit of Bielsa, confirming that talks with the 62-year-old are ongoing at this stage, but he isn’t the only candidate that Leeds are considering ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

Leeds’ supporters are desperate to know who will be taking over at Elland Road, as the club looks ahead to the 2018/19 campaign and looks to put a dismal 12 months behind them.
