Sheffield Wednesday are surely set to be busy in the summer as they look to right the wrongs that have gone on this season.

The Owls have been hit by inconsistency and injury for much of the campaign and that has left them looking at a mid-table finish and nothing else.

For sure, when they are all fit they've got a decent side but it is clear that they still need to have a bit of a shake-up and so some exits and incomings will both be on the agenda.

What actually happens, remains to be seen, but we've been thinking about some of the potential headlines that could come from Wednesday's window.

With that in mind, let's take a look at two sagas that could be likely...

It seems pretty safe to say that Derby got the better deal in getting Sam Winnall from the Owls as Jacob Butterfield went the other way.

Derby, then, might want to keep the forward past this season whilst the Owls would surely want to give him another chance now that there is a new manager in charge in Jos Luhukay.

It could prove an interesting tug of war.

Jordan Rhodes has had a very tough season at the club and there could be some looking to offer him a route out of Hillsborough.

Wednesday would surely like to see the player stay around a bit longer given what they paid for him to see if he's still got it but surely they'd be tempted if the right bid came in.

He's not looked confident this year and it remains to be seen how the Owls feel about him.
