Millwall have enjoyed a fine season this year and are still in contention for the play-offs with eight games left in the Championship.

Few would have expected the Lions to be challenging for the top six come the end of their first year back in the second tier but that is where they are and it is completely on merit.

Indeed, they'll believe that they can keep going under the radar and sneak in now that their away form has seriously improved and so the men from The Den need to be monitored closely.

If, however, they do not go up this season, it won't be the end of the world - it will have still been a great campaign - but there might be concern that such an eventuality would lead to some players attracting interest.

Here, then, are two transfer sagas that could be nailed on this summer...

Saville is arguably the Lions' best player and there's a great case to suggest that he'll attract interest in the summer.

There's surely a sense of loyalty to the club given that they've given him a great platform to showcase his talents but if the right offer comes in, you could still see it going through.

Millwall aren't financially in trouble by any means but if a sizeable bid came in for the midfielder it would be interesting to see what the club did.

Gregory is another man who enjoyed a good season thanks to Millwall's progress and what they've managed to offer him in attack.

With him not far off of his 30th birthday now he'll be wanting to make the most of his career and so it would be anyone's guess as to what happens if a club looked to swoop.

Given Millwall's campaign so far, though, there's not many clubs in the league that could offer him guaranteed football higher up in the division and so there'd surely be some push and pull if any offer was made.
