Gary Bowyer has admitted his Bradford City side need to find their scoring touch if they want to get a good idea of where the Bantams will end up in League Two.

City have only scored 15 goals in their 11 league matches so far this term, with only three teams in the top ten scoring less.

He told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus in the build up to tomorrow's clash against Swindon Town, that it is fair to say, the team should have been scoring more goals.

"We've had the conversation this week and focused a lot of our work on the final third, it feels like it's a case of keep doing what we are doing, as we are creating a lot of chances, and it will come."

Bradford, who host Swindon Town on Saturday currently lie in 8th place in League Two, with Saturday's opponents two points ahead in 5th.

City will be without top scorer James Vaughan, who is suspended, meaning either Shay McCartan or Aramide Oteh will partner Clayton Donaldson up top, against Swindon, knowing a win could take them as high as fourth in the table.

The Verdict

City will want to get firing to ensure they move up the League Two table. Although only one team has scored 20 goals in League Two, but the lack of City's goals coupled with conceding ten, have led to them already having an inferior goal difference to those around them. They have only managed more than one goal in four of their 11 games.

One slight positive is that City have only failed to hit the net twice so far this season, they just need to make their chances count in order to see games out. In a League that is so often tight at the top, the Bantams will want to find their scoring boots to ensure their goal difference is boosted up.
