Bournemouth are set to open talks with Bosnian starlet Anel Hadzic. SK Sturm Graz's midfielder was said to be in talks with Newcastle, but a bid has yet to materialise. It is also rumoured that Everton are keeping tabs on the Bosnian international.

The 24 year-old still has a year to run on his current contract with the Austrian side, however talks are said to be advanced between the clubs and the players representatives.

Hadzic has admitted in interviews that he has currently two offers from England and another from an Italian club, he has said he hopes to resolve his future by the end of the week.

Hadzic said: “I do have a specific offer from a club in the Italian top division and my representatives informed me yesterday that two clubs in England are interested in my services. However, I can’t discuss any names. Everything should be clear in the next five or six days.”

Ever present for Graz last season, Hadzic was a late addition to the Bosnia and Herzegovina World Cup squad. His international debut came in March against Egypt, he has since played in two friendlies against Ivory Coast since that time.

It has been reported that Hadzic could be available for as little as £1.5m, although it has yet to be seen whether he is tempted by a move to the SkyBet Championship, the lime light of the Premier League or the Italian Serie A.
