Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has dismissed reports that the club have received bids for defender Steve Cook.
The 23 year old has signed a 3 year contract, to put to an end any transfer speculation linking the defender with a move away from the club.
Last month Midlands newspaper the Express & Star had valued Cook at £2million, and Wolves were apparently interested in signing the Cherries defender.
Wolves were one of six clubs to be linked with Bournemouth’s centre half, with the Daily Echo listing Burnley, Crystal Palace, West Brom, Fulham and Norwich as potential ‘suitors.
However, the club have not received any bids for Steve Cook, who impressed while playing alongside club captain Tommy Elphick over 40 times last season.
