Sheffield United succumbed to defeat for the second home tie in a row last night as West Brom came to Bramall Lane to take all three points on a cold Friday evening in Yorkshire.

The Blades had gone into the lead early in the first half when David McGoldrick coolly slotted in from a Mark Duffy pass, but a goal just before the break from Gareth Barry and a winner from left back Kieran Gibbs put paid to any chance United had of taking the win.

It was another second half display which saw the Blades run out of steam, and manager Chris Wilder will be desperate for some new additions in the January window if he is to see his team carry on any sort of momentum into the new year and a promotion run.

That second half showing in particular did not go down too well with a section of the Blades crowd, who, following the game, took to Twitter to voice their concerns.

We at FLW were on hand to see what Blades fans had to say about their latest performance and defeat...
