Championship duo Leeds United and Sheffield United could be boosted in January with the news that Liverpool winger Ryan Kent could be available for a move.

According to the Sun, Liverpool are unimpressed by Kent's lack of progress and game time since making a move to Bundesliga outfit Freiburg in the summer, and could be willing to recall the youngster and send him to the Championship.

This will be a boost for both the Blades and the Whites, who were both keen to sign the winger in the summer but lost out when Kent decided to try and seize the opportunity over in Germany.

Kent has already had impressive spells in England with both Coventry City and Barnsley and would surely relish the chance to return to England and join either of the Yorkshire club's, who are both in the mix for promotion following good starts to the season.

The winger has struggled to get into Jurgen Klopp's team over the past 18 months but is highly thought of by the coaching staff at Anfield, and they will be keen to see him develop further, with a spell in the Championship the ideal sort of move on paper for the youngster.

Blades and Leeds fans, would Kent be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
