Yeovil Town have completed the loan signing of Bolton Wanderers striker Tom Eaves until the New Year, the club have confirmed.
The 22-year-old has only made three senior appearances for his parent club, and has now been given the chance to play regualar first-team football at the League One club.
However, during that time the 6ft 5in frontman has had four loan spells with lower league teams, making 58 appearances and scoring 15 goals in the process.
Eaves latest temporary switch will see him link up with Yeovil, who are in the Sky Bet League One relegation zone, having failed to win their last eight league games before last Saturday’s victory at high-flyers Notts County.
Speaking to the official website, Glovers Manager Gary Johnson said he had “been aware of Tom for some time” and was “pleased to bring him to Yeovil when the opportunity arose.”
Eaves could be seen as the perfect replacement for Jordi Hiwula, after the Manchester City youngster had his loan cut short by Yeovil earlier this week.
