Bolton Wanderers have responded to the recent interest from German side FSV Mainz over their 26 year old Hungarian goalkeeper, Adam Bogdan, by placing a £2 million price tag on the number 1, who made just 12 appearances for the club, according to Burnden Aces.

Adam Bogdan is remaining calm about his future

Bogdan, who joined the trotters 2007, had a bad start to the 2013/14 SkyBet Championship season, including letting the ball roll through his legs and into the net against Yeovil Town in late September.

In November, Bogdan was sidelined for 3-6 weeks after damaging the ligaments in his left knee during a training session.

However, the injury, unfortunately for him, put him out until early February, in which reserve keeper Andrew Lonergan took his place.

The 26 year old returned to the trotters almost straight after reaching full fitness and managed to keep 4 clean sheets out of a possible 8 games and potentially save the Whites from a relegation fight.

Adam Bogdan has one season left on his current contract at the newly branded Macron Stadium, so Bolton boss Dougie Freedman is keen to either cash in if the demand has been met or renew the Hungarian's contract.
