Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that the club have just 200 tickets left on sale for Friday’s clash with Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship.

Phil Parkinson’s side travel to Elland Road on Friday afternoon to take on Leeds, with Bolton set to be backed by plenty of supporters in the West Stand.

The Trotters moved to confirm on their official website this afternoon that only a limited number of tickets were still available for Friday’s clash at Elland Road, with prices on those tickets reduced due to an impaired view.

Leeds are expecting a big crowd for the first game back after the international break, after they opted to offer season ticket holders the option to ‘Bring a Friend’ for free to the game, whilst also revealing that Bolton took a full allocation in the away end.

The two clubs previously met on the opening day of the Championship season, when the Whites picked up three points thanks to a 3-2 victory at the Macron Stadium.

Leeds’ season is drifting towards a mid-table finish, whilst Bolton are heading to Elland Road and looking to put distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Parkinson’s side currently sit 19th and six points clear of the bottom three.

The Verdict

Friday’s clash at Elland Road should be a good contest, with an excellent atmosphere.

Not many clubs have sold out at Elland Road this season, and a large away following will boost Bolton.

Elland Road is a difficult place to go, despite Leeds’ struggles, but Bolton’s supporters could be key to them picking up a positive result.
