Bolton Wanderers midfielder Darren Pratley has revealed that the Bolton squad are determined to turn their season around after a poor start, as he spoke to the Bolton News.

The Wanderers' skipper made his return from injury on Saturday, but was unable to help them to their first away win since April, as they were beaten by a last-minute goal against QPR.

The defeat leaves Bolton in the relegation zone of the Championship, however they were in the same position last year when Neil Lennon took charge and steered them to safety and Pratley is confident they can do the same this time round.

"I think we are a better team than we were under the previous manager," He admitted to the Bolton News.

"Obviously the fans will have left disappointed on Saturday but I don't think they could say we weren't committed,"

"We scored three away from home and you don't normally do that and lose the game,"

"The commitment is there – it was just sloppiness 30 seconds from the end that killed us."

Bolton fans will be hoping that conceding late on won't become a theme again this season, as during the 2014/15 campaign, the Whites threw away nine points by shipping late goals, most notably against rivals Wigan, Blackburn and Wolves.

The Trotters will travel a short distance to Turf Moor after the international break, as they face a local derby with Burnley.

This will prove to be a difficult test for Lennon's side, with the Clarets in good form after registering five wins in their last seven games, whereas Bolton are struggling away from home, with only two away wins to their name in 2015.
