Bolton Wanderers are eyeing up a deadline day swoop for Crystal Palace midfielder Owen Garvan, according to Burnden Aces.
Garvan has 12-months left on his contract at Palace and was told he can seek a new club. He was a first team regular during Palace’s promotion campaign, scoring four goals in 32 appearances, but he hasn’t featured much in the Palace side in the Premier League.
Bolton boss Dougie Freedman is set to offer Garvan a short-term deal after injuries to four of his midfield players, leaving him short of options in the centre of the park.
Garvan joined Palace from Ipswich in 2010.
