Bolton captain publicly apologises after Bristol City drubbing

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Darren Pratley has publicly apologised for their 6-0 hammering to Bristol City at the weekend, reports the club’s official website.

Darren Pratley has apologised for Bolton’s 6-0 drubbing at Bristol City
The captain has issued a statement saying that the players take full responsibility for their heavy defeat on Saturday and that they “let the club, fans and Jimmy Phillips down”.
Bolton interim manager, Jimmy Phillips, who took charge of his first game since the sacking of Neil Lennon, told the BBC after Saturday’s defeat: ‘I possibly felt worse when we were relegated on the last day of the Premier League season while I was a player, but it’s similar today.’
That defeat took the Trotters closer to League One, as they now face an uphill task to scrape as many points as possible to avoid the drop.
They are currently rooted to the bottom of the table by some distance, and are 12 points adrift of safety.
Phillips will be looking for an immediate response from his players when they face Reading after the international break.
Bolton fans… Do you accept Pratley’s apology? Is there anyway back from this? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
