Middlesbrough came from behind twice to win 3-2 against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

Summer signings Lewis Baker, Ashley Fletcher and Britt Assombalonga all found the net in a topsy turvy win against Ian Holloway's spirited side and kept Boro's impressive home form going.

A nightmare start, conceding a goal after just two minutes to David Wheeler, took a while to recover from but Garry Monk's side stayed calm and eventually got the win.

Boro fans reacted on Twitter to a win that lifted their side up to seventh happily - they knew their side had shown good character to come back and win in a match that certainly did not see them put in their best performance.

Marvin Johnson caught the eye and was given man of the match, not least for his assist for Baker's goal.

The Boro fans are also aware that their side is yet to truly catch fire and there is a sense of excitement about what can be achieved when they do.
