Aston Villa have been dealt a blow with the news that star youngster Kienan Davis has reportedly rejected the offer of a new deal with the club so far.

According to a report in the Express, the striker has rejected the offer of a new deal at Villa Park, although Villa Chief Executive Keith Wyness has denied the claims.

If however the news is true, it represents a huge blow for the Midlanders, with Davis already catching the attention of Premier League giants such as Man United and Arsenal. Indeed it has already been reported that Villa are already fending off bids for the youngster, with Man United manager Jose Mourinho particularly keen.

The young forward has enjoyed a stunning rise since signing for the Villans from non-league, and has been a mainstay of the team in the past few months, keeping the likes of Scott Hogan out of the starting line up.

His manager Steve Bruce has been massively impressed with Davis's displays, and he will be hoping to tie the teenager down to a long term contract as soon as possible.

Davis however could have his head turned by the lure of Premier League football, and it could be hard to resist for the youngster if the knock at the door does come from Mourinho and co.

Villa fans, what do you think to this report? Should Davis stay? Let us know in the comments!
