Millwall held third-place Fulham to a 1-1 draw at the Den last night, which has drawn an positive response from fans of the South London club.

Scott Parker's side came into the game in fantastic form, having won four of their last five in the league, and took an early lead through Aleksander Mitrovic.

The Serbian striker slid to convert Joe Bryan's whipped-in cross in the third minute.

The Lions provided a quick but controversial response when Jon Dadi Bodvarsson stabbed in an equaliser from what looked an offside position four minutes later.

Gary Rowett's men had a chance to take the lead not long after when Bryan brought down Mahlon Romeo inside the box but Jed Wallace blazed his penalty over the crossbar.

Both sides had opportunities to win it in the second half but neither were able to land the killer blow.

The result means Fulham miss out on a chance to leapfrog Leeds United into second, while Millwall slip seven points from the top six.
