The EFL have taken action as the country looks to combat of the spread of coronavirus, confirming that matches will suspended.

In an official statement, the EFL have confirmed that all matches have been suspended until 3rd April at the earliest, as they look to prevent the spread of the virus.

This means that relegation battles and promotion pushes will be put on hold, as sides prepare for what is shaping up to be an enthralling end to the EFL campaign.

Nottingham Forest remain in the hunt for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship, and they sit five points clear of seventh place ahead of the final nine games of the season.

Reds fans have naturally reacted to the EFL's update, and the break will allow the likes of Samba Sow and Tiago Silva to fully recover from their injury.
